Welcome to Ray School
Ray School is a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural elementary school located in the heart of the Hyde Park community just two blocks from the University of Chicago campus. The public school offers an exciting and challenging curriculum that includes Spanish instruction for all students.
Ray is open to anyone within the school boundaries and to children chosen through the Hyde Park Magnet Cluster/Options for Knowledge program.

What's happening around Ray...
- Acting Principal Antonia Hill will be presenting Ray School's proposed
budget and school improvement plans to the wider community and to the
parents of Ray School students Wednesday evening at 6 PM in the school
cafeteria.
This is a chance for the community to comment on both how the CPS budgeted monies are directed and what the school will set as priorities during the coming year.
Members of the Local School Council welcome input from community members and student's parents and will take those comments into consideration when the budget and school improvement plans are voted on at an upcoming meeting.
Please try to attend Wednesday night at 6- Ray School cafeteria.
